Attendance

Moodle courses automatically assign 100 points for attendance. It is important to note that the module gives students the 100 points up front. Subsequent absences removes points in relation to its position along the semester. For example, if a student is absent the second day of classes, the points total drops to half the number of total points. The points will rebuild as the student attends classes. The total points can be changed in the Edit Settings tool located to the right of the attendance module on the Moodle home page.
